We are always keen, near to desperation, to bring more (young or older) players into the club. The Sunday team is a great group of players. Although we would prefer it if you were able to play on a regular basis we do understand that if you can only manage a few games because of family or other commitments. If that is the situation, you would still be very welcome. You may surprise yourself and want to play more often! Everyone is welcome.

Please contact Peter Dembrey (  or 07709 946 880 or) if you are interested in playing.

Overall the Sunday team had a good season against a number of like-minded friendly teams. The squad has been built up successfully over the season and is looking to continue to do so next year. Our aim is to re-build the fixture list by increasing the number fixtures beyond those arranged for 2017.

The photograph below: the original of this photo of Chailey Cricket Club in 1910 has been kindly donated by Derek Bird whose family used to reside at Alwyn, Station Road, North Chailey.

The photo was taken in front of the old pavilion at Row Heath, later the score hut, which sadly has since been demolished. If anyone is able to help identify any of the players in this picture or any of the 'ancient' photos in the gallery on this website, please let get in touch!
