We are always keen, near to desperation, to bring more (young or older) players into the club. Currently we do not play on Saturdays, preferring to enjoy friendly fixtures on Sundays.

Although we would prefer it if you were able to play on a regular basis we do understand that because of family or other commitments you may only be able to join us occasionally. If that is the situation, you would still be very welcome. You may surprise yourself and want to play more often!

Everyone is welcome. Interested? If so, please contact Peter Dembrey via mail or ring him on 0770 99 46 880

The photograph below is NOT of the current team :) It is a photo of Chailey Cricket Club in 1910. The original photo has been kindly donated by Derek Bird whose family used to reside at Alwyn, Station Road, North Chailey.

The photo was taken in front of the old pavilion at Row Heath, later the score hut, which along with its replacement has long since been demolished - a casualty of the 1987 storm.

If anyone is able to help identify any of the players - may be your relative, or a former neighbour - in this photo or any of the 'ancient' photos in our photo gallery or if you have a photo of any Chailey cricket team (any era) we would love to hear from you.
